Trailblazer Rai Nets S.O. Good Award

Congratulations are due as this quarter's Vigilance S.O. Good Award for the leading performance by a company security officer is taken by lead SIA caretaker Debi Kumar Rai.

Vigilance congratulated Mr Rai at the Eccleston Street office and presented the quarterly award certificate, as well as a £50 voucher in recognition of the achievement. Som Chochangi the personnel director explained why Debi Rai had garnered this top award:

"Debi has been contracting at Lambeth LFB site as a lead caretaker since October 2014. 

He has shown intelligence and diligence and very high levels of professionalism in the conduct of his duties, and customer service understanding. 

His efforts are inspirational and I am pleased to recognise his service with this award."

Intelligent Diligence

In late July Debi Rai volunteered to compete in the 100km team challenge of Trailwalker 2015, which coincided with G200. His cheerful, determined attitude was an essential part of his team Vigilance Doko Breaking My Heart's success in completing the course with mind and body intact!

Determined Professionalism

More recently Debi's professionalism and calm leadership under pressure was notable during a recent squat rave in Lambeth where his control of a major incident lead to a timely and efficient eviction of tresspassers, while damage to persons and property was minimised.

Outstanding Role Model

"He always leads by example, and is an excellent role model to all of Vigilance's SIA licensed security guards and caretakers," added Som Chochangi.
