Vigilance Passes Gurkha Giving Milestone

One month after the calamity of the Nepal Earthquake Vigilance disaster relief and fundraising initiatives have passed the key milestone of £10,000 total monies raised for selected charity projects.

In partnership with the Gurkha Welfare Trust Vigilance has committed to a 24-month CSR fundraising total of £50,000 to build a new earthquake resistant school in Chiuribote, in the Kali Gandaki valley. So far funds raised for this wonderful project stand at over £7,000 with more pledged over the next days. More information is available at:

In response to the 7.8 magnitude earthquake of 25th April Vigilance staff, directors and supporters raised a staggering additional £5,000 in 24 hours towards the GWT's Earthquake Relief Fund.
