Vigilance Hyde Park 5 / 10km Charity Run 

Vigilance is proud of its enduring links to the Gurkha community of Nepal, and to celebrate this longstanding association this Dashain we are running a charity 5 or 10km run in Hyde Park in aid of the Gurkha Welfare Trust (the GWT).

Enduring Links

In January last year Vigilance committed to raise funds to rebuild the Siddartha School in Chiuribot, Western Nepal, following the devastation caused in April 2015 by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake. This reconstruction project builds on Vigilance’s chosen charity partnership with the GWT.

Siddartha School Reconstruction

The reconstructed Siddartha School will be earthquake resistant but it is not only its design that is ground breaking; the intention is to sustainably service the long term educational, medical and social needs of an isolated subsistence farming community in Nepal's Kali Gandaki zone.

Gurkha Grit

We'd love you to join us for this fun run in Hyde Park, and show true Gurkha grit to help make our Siddartha School project a reality. The race will start at 1300 on Friday 14th October 2016, with participants arriving for pre-race preparations from noon.
