This newly built multi-million pound fire station in West Norwood was undergoing a final fit-out by contractors before handover to the London Fire Brigade. Vigilance was tasked with securing and controlling access to the construction site to prevent unauthorised access and theft of materials. We were subsequently contracted to supply security for the station’s high-profile opening event, working in partnership with the emergency services to gather intelligence and plan the safe running of the day’s schedule.

  • Supply of security fundamentals including crowd barriers
  • Intelligence Reporting and close protection of event guests, including Government ministers and public figures
  • Event security to safeguard against unlawful access, property damage and public order problems
  • The cutting-edge facility was fully protected while vacant, prior to handover to the London Fire Brigade
  • The opening event ran seamlessly, with any security risks anticipated and mitigated
  • Public safety and engagement were improved
