Vigilance Sponsors Welsh Guards Winners!

Vigilance Properties has proudly supported the Welsh Guards with its shirt sponsorship of the battalion soccer team over the past season.

Glittering Awards

A delighted operations director Ed Mills was doubly delighted to be invited to attend a glittering awards ceremony last month; gleaming chiefly because of the significant silverware on display!

Successful Squad

Summarising a hugely successful season WO2 (DSgt) Davies, the battalion's football officer, spoke passionately of this year's successful rebuilding of the team at all levels following a successful Ellicott Cup in 2013.

Full participation from a 35-player squad saw unpredented season's success in delivering the following results:

1. The London District League Title 2014
2. The London District Cup in defeating the Household Cavalry Regiment 4-1
3. The London District Sixes Tournament with victory over long term holders the Princess of Wales Royal Regiment.
4.  Soccersixes League Title 2014, unbeaten with a positive goal difference of 50 points.

Success breeds success and the Welsh Guards also reached the quarter finals of both the Army Cup and Infantry Cup, while qualifying for the Army Sixes. The ambition from the football officer and his able assistants
