Vigilance welcomes new Operations Coordinator

Following a period of growth, Vigilance has appointed George Waterfield as the new Operations Coordinator. 

Mission Command Endures 

George’s ‘Mission Command’ approach mirrors that which is upheld at Vigilance. He has high hopes of further improving operational efficiencies, whilst maintaining agility and speed to react to customers needs at short notice. 

Coming from a military background, George served for 6 years as an officer in The Royal Anglian Regiment. His many plaudits include acting as Company Operations Officer in Afghanistan on Op HERRICK 16 Feb-Oct 2012. 

In January 2015 George left the Army and took up a position in Deloitte Risk Advisory. Climbing the ranks, he reached Manager level focussing on assurance and risk management of large business transformation portfolios. 

Focus and Aim 

George will work on the efficient coordination of current operations both in the short and long term, whilst working to enable greater interdepartmental collaboration and coordination. 

Of his new role, George commented: 

“I am looking forward to bringing my ideas to Vigilance, helping the company to achieve its ambition of growth and working with a loyal and focussed team.”

R&R 

As well as beginning a new challenge at Vigilance, George has recently welcomed 11-month old baby Charlie into the world. 

In his past he acted as the Liaison Officer for the New Zealand team for the Invictus Games in London. We are already gearing him up for an impressive performance at our next annual Dashain Dash!
