Case Study 22.02.17
Vacant newly built megastore in Kent
Assignment
Newly completed vacant megastore in Kent
Situation
This recently built 100,000 sq ft supermarket building was sitting vacant pending occupancy. The site was at risk from trespass, squatting, fly tipping, materials stripping, and vandalism. As part of our national contract, we were briefed to provide round-the-clock protection to ensure the building remained in immaculate condition and safeguarded from damage.
Solution
- Residential security service on-site 24/7, acting as a visible deterrent to criminal activity
- Supply and installation of security fundamentals including alarm systems, concrete bollards, temporary security gates and fencing
- The building and surrounding site stayed in pristine condition throughout its vacancy, maintained in a state immediately ready for occupancy
- Intruders were not willing or able to access the site, given the constant presence of our residential security service
- The property was fully protected from criminal damage, giving peace of mind to the owners and the leaseholders
Outcome
- The building and surrounding site stayed in pristine condition throughout its vacancy, maintained in a state immediately ready for occupancy
- Intruders were not willing or able to access the site, given the constant presence of our residential security service
- The property was fully protected from criminal damage, giving peace of mind to the owners and the leaseholders
