S.O. Good Award to Rajendra Thapa 

SIA licensed Security Officer Rajendra Thapa has been selected for Vigilance’s quarterly S.O. Good Award after a commendable period of work. We congratulate and award him for his service, bravo Rajendra!

Military Background 

Rajendra, originally from Ridi Bazaar in South-West Nepal, joined the British Army in late 1979 after which he laterally served with 2nd Gurkha Rifles. During this time, Rajendra served across the world, based in Hong Kong, Brunei, Malaysia, the Falkland Islands, Australia and the UK. 

After 15 years of exemplary service Rajendra retired from British military life in 1994. Following in similar footsteps, Rajendra continued to serve as part of Gurkha Reserve Unit (GRU) Brunei for 13 years. 

UK-Bound 

Rajendra and his family settled in the UK in 2007, since then he has worked as a Security Officer in various positions, before joining Vigilance in February 2015. An industrious worker, Rajendra has worked on numerous sites and is currently positioned as a night concierge.
