A delegation of the company's senior management were delighted to attend the celebratory G200 Gurkha Pageant at Figure Court of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, performed in front of Her Majesty The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales and Prince Harry.
The Gurkha Pageant chronicled 200 years of loyal Gurkha service to the British Crown, and included performances by the ever popular Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas, as well as dramatic reconstructions of key moment of Brigade history by serving soldiers and officers.
A particular highlight of the evening was the march past the Royal Box, featuring sole surviving Gurkha recipient of the Victoria Cross Captain Ram Bahadur Limbu, who was awarded his VC for outstanding valour in the face of the enemy in Sarawak in Borneo in 1965.
Vigilance's CEO, COO, Ops and Personnel Dirs were tremendously honoured during the following drinks reception to be able to meet Captain Limbu VC MBO, and to chat to many friends and former colleagues at this star-studded event.
Partner charity the Gurkha Welfare Trust were much in evidence and Vigilance's school reconstruction project in Chiuribote village was much discussed during the course of a historic evening.
