Situation

Belgravia's high density of prime properties, lower rates of occupation, and significant foreign embassy presence mean that its residences are often a target for thieves, squatters, protestors and vandals. This property was vacant, with no existing security arrangement. Its features included a swimming pool and spa, needing regular monitoring and maintenance. We were briefed to provide a permanent 24/7 service onsite, keeping the building secure from intruders and managing property maintenance on behalf of the overseas owners.

Solution

• Installing permanent security in residence service in a staff flat on the property
• Ensuring continual observation of key access points and street frontages
• Providing greeting and liaison for the owners’ family, visitors and contractors.
• Controlling all access and exit
• Ongoing monitoring of the condition of the property
• The building has been protected during a period when neighbouring properties have been squatted, burgled or occupied
